The original hotel was built in 1855 with bush timber and bark. A stone weatherboard and iron combination followed. For many years, the hotel also boasted extensive stables and a stock sale yard. Farmers would stable their horses at the hotel, attend the sale of sheep or cattle and then refresh themselves at the hotel. Loddon Arts Inc. runs the Coach House Gallery/Museum Complex it is a not for profit organisation manned by volunteers. Exhibitions change on a monthly basis and we welcome artists who wish to exhibit with us.
The gallery also offers the opportunity to sit down and enjoy a good quality coffee and some cake when you visit.
